2011: Full Speed Ahead!
Dear U2 Community,
After an exciting 2010, the Rocket U2 team spent January planning for 2011 – and we’re well on our way to finalizing our goals for this year. We started with a kick-off meeting with our global sales team, where we announced that John Mathieu has been promoted to vice president of worldwide Rocket U2 sales. We’re gearing up for this month’s U2 University in Sydney, and the UK event will be next month. If you haven’t yet registered, please do so here.
Our team is bringing lots of energy to our goal of continued growth of the Rocket U2 business in 2011. We’ve put a renewed focus on education in general, and U2 DeveloperZone in particular, so watch for announcements of upcoming classes and webinars, both in this newsletter and at www.rs.com/u2/training. And – of course – there’s the product side. SystemBuilder SBXA 6.0.5 for WINDOWS and UNIX has recently been released, UniData 7.2.8 will be out soon, and (as you’ll read below) moving forward with U2 DataVu is a top priority for us.
