Letter from Susie
July brought unusually wet weather to Colorado, with rain almost every afternoon. Our sympathies go out to those of you caught in the heat wave and drought that have gripped other parts of the country.
We added an important new staff member in July. Heather Smiles has joined the U2 team as our Marketing Manager. She brings strong design skills and a creative mind to our team, so we’re looking forward to “tooting our own horn” more in the future!
The slight lull brought about by vacations made July a good time to work on new licensing models for the U2 product. We revised our Standby License policy and pricing as noted in our July issue and are getting close to rolling out both Fixed Term licensing and Software as a Service (SaaS) licensing. So watch for information on both in future issues of the U2 News Flash.
I hope all of you are able to enjoy the rest of the summer, and have some fun times with family and friends before the children go back to school, which will be early August here in Colorado.
